From My Farm to You šæ
Whatās growing, what Iām making, and whatās heading to the farmstand
Right now, Iāve got milk jugs and bottles lined up like little greenhouses, trays started inside, and Iām checking them more than I probably need to⦠just waiting for those first signs of life.
This isnāt my first garden, but it is a new kind of beginning.
Iāve gardened in the deep South and in Washington, and now Iām learning Kansasāits wind, its timing, its surprises. Itās been a bit of an adjustment figuring out what works here, but Iām learning as I go.
Iām starting simple⦠or at least trying to. Seeds in jugs, small black trays, and building out no-till raised beds. Ideas in my head and a vision thatās still coming together. And yesāaround here itās already being joked that Iām doing the most š
But this isnāt just about a garden.
Itās about what weāre building on our 10-acre homestead. Growing what we can, making what we can, raising chickens, and learning how to do things in a more sustainable, budget-friendly, and self-reliant way.
I want this to be a place you can follow along with all of itānot just the finished pieces, but the process.
The experimenting. The figuring things out. The things that work⦠and the things that donāt.
Iāll share what Iām planting, how Iām starting seeds, what Iām building, and simple ways you can do it tooāwhether you have a full garden, a few containers, or are just getting started. There will be tutorials, updates from the stand, and little glimpses into what it looks like to create a slower, more intentional kind of life.
This space is about growing things, yesābut also about creating, learning, and making something meaningful with what we have.
And in all of it, choosing to find joy in the process.
Iām so glad youāre here. šæ
You can also follow along more day-to-day and see whatās happening in real time over on my social pages, where Iāll be sharing updates from the farm stand, what Iām making, and how I run things behind the scenes.
